Marriage Coaching for One
Relationship healing can start with one person.
You recognize that something needs to change in your relationship. Perhaps you’ve brought up the topic to your partner but your partner wants nothing to do with counseling.
The good news is you don’t have to wait for your partner to go to counseling with you or change in order to see improvements in your relationship. When one person makes a change in the relationship this causes a shift in the dynamic between you. When you put these small changes in place, likely you will see a new and different response from your partner.
It’s very common for only one person in the relationship to want to pursue help for the marriage. While ideally it would be great for both of you to commit to working together to heal the marriage, it is equally effective and beneficial for one partner to pursue counseling.
It takes a lot of courage to admit that some of the problems in your marriage start with you. When you schedule a marriage coaching for one session, you and I will work together in a supportive environment that will facilitate your self change. Even though I’m working with you alone, I use a systems/relationship approach. This means that your relationship is my client. Not only will I hear your point of view, but I will help you understand your partner’s.
It’s not easy to go it alone but think about what a great investment you’re making in yourself and your marriage.
Yes, one partner can create positive change in a relationship!
